INSIDE DAY OF RAGE

-3:45pm

The attack on the U.S. Capitol was perhaps the most widely documented act of political violence in history. During a six-month investigation, The New York Times obtained, analyzed and mapped out thousands of hours of video to provide the most complete picture to date of what happened on Jan. 6 – and why. Day of Rage, created by the Visual Investigations Unit at The New York Times, charts in chilling detail how the peaceful transition of power was disrupted by rioters who stormed a seemingly impenetrable seat of government. We’ll hear from the Times team that culled, connected and analyzed cell phone videos, police body cameras, surveillance footage inside the Capitol, as well as the internal radio recordings detailing how the officers responded, to create this monumental feat of visual reporting.
