Haley Willis is a reporter with the New York Times’ Visual Investigations team and producer of Day of Rage: An In-Depth Look at How a Mob Stormed the Capitol. She has covered the use of force by police in Hong Kong, Myanmar, and the United States, airstrikes in Libya and Syria, and militant groups in Mozambique and Afghanistan. Prior to joining The Times, Haley worked as an open source researcher with the Human Rights Center at Berkeley Law and as a project manager with Amnesty International’s Digital Verification Corps.
