Journalist & Documentary Filmmaker

Peter Klein is a journalist and documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on global investigations. He has directed and produced feature and broadcast documentaries that have appeared on PBS Frontline, Al Jazeera, Netflix, History Channel and Discovery, among others. He is the executive editor of investigations at NBC News in New York, and previously was an investigative producer at CBS News 60 Minutes and at ABC News. He’s the founder of the Global Reporting Centre, a nonprofit journalism organization that innovates international reporting, and was on the founding producers of New York Times’ video unit. Peter has won numerous major filmmaking and journalism awards, including three Emmy Awards for investigative documentaries.
