Lynne Adrine

Journalist

Lynne Adrine is the president of LKA Strategies, a coaching and consulting resource which concentrates on business presentation strategies and career transition.

Lynne has more than 30 years of experience as an award-winning broadcast journalist and senior producer with multiple television networks, including CNN, PBS Newshour, NBC News, CBS News and ABC News. She served eight years as a juror for the Alfred I duPont-Columbia University Awards in journalism.

Following 12 years as the director of a graduate Washington reporting program for the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Lynne currently works with clients on developing tools for effective communications. That includes spoken, written and visual platforms, along with public presentations and media interviews.

Lynne serves on the board of directors of Journal-isms Inc., a nonprofit corporation supporting diversity issues in U.S. news media. Other advisory board positions have include the Freedom Forum’s Power Shift Project  and The Center for Ethical Leadership in the Media, organizations dedicated to civility, inclusion and equity in newsrooms and other work environments.

Lynne received her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University, then went on to graduate work at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She received certification as an executive leadership coach from Georgetown University’s Center for Professional Development (now SCS).
