Kimberly Hodges is a respected event producer, public outreach strategist, and media content creator with a passion for storytelling and community engagement. A skilled marketing and PR professional, she has partnered with nonprofits, government agencies, theaters, and cultural organizations, bringing creativity, strategy, and vision to every project.
As an event producer, Kimberly has played pivotal roles in major productions such as the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Ready2BHealthy Festival, and Montgomery County’s inaugural Juneteenth celebration, Freedom at the Rock. She has also produced signature events that highlight and uplift diverse communities, including the Montgomery Serves Awards and the African American Living Legends Awards.
Her media work includes writing PSAs for television and radio, scripting award shows and stage productions, and contributing to projects for film. Her production credits range from America’s Most Wanted to a short film for Clarendon Entertainment, which featured music licensed from Sweet Honey in the Rock and the Jimi Hendrix Estate, recognized at MTV Urbanworld.
For nearly a decade, Kimberly has produced the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration at the Music Center at Strathmore and helped launch community programming at DC’s historic Lincoln Theatre.
