Kali is a documentary filmmaker from Myanmar (Burma) whose purpose in creating We Bloom in Spring is to shed light on a country often forgotten; provide a mirror for the people of Myanmar—to see that we are the heroes of our story; and finally, to inspire viewers worldwide to strive for a world marked by democracy and peace.
