Gabriel Kahn

Professor of Professional Practice

Gabriel Kahn is a professor of professional practice at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism, where he is also co-director of the Media, Economics and Entrepreneurship program. In 2018 he launched Crosstown, which uses data to produce hyperlocal news. Prior to joining USC, he spent ten years at The Wall Street Journal, where he served as Los Angeles bureau chief, deputy Hong Kong bureau chief and deputy Southern Europe bureau chief, based in Rome. He has reported from more than a dozen countries on three continents.
