I’m an anchor-reporter for KSDK, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis. I’ve reported on Ferguson related events for months following the shooting death of Michael Brown. I was one of the first journalists on scene at the riots the day after the unarmed teenager was shot and killed. Prior to working in St. Louis, I was a general assignment reporter for four years in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. I also worked in Central, Texas for several years. I was the second reporter on scene following the mass shooting at Fort Hood involving Nidal Hasan. I also returned to the Central Texas area to cover the Fort Hood shooting that took place last year. I launched my on-air news career at KIMO-TV, the statewide ABC affiliate in Anchorage, Alaska, as an evening co-anchor. I reported on stories during the day, including the heavily-covered ongoing murder trial of ex-stripper Mechele Linehan. My most memorable interview in Alaska was a 30 minute sit-down with former vice presidential candidate (and at the time Governor) Sarah Palin about her future plans. As of now, I generally cover breaking news.
