Nick Quested is the Executive Director and owner of Goldcrest Films, where he has built a distinguished career in documentary filmmaking. With over 60 films to his credit, Quested has earned both an Emmy Award and a duPont-Columbia Award for his contributions to journalism and film. He is also known for his work as a producer on Restrepo, which was nominated for an Academy Award.

In June 2022, Quested provided critical testimony as the opening witness before the January 6 Committee, sharing his extensive footage of the Proud Boys and their involvement in the insurrection. Quested connected the dots on all these converging stories in his feature documentary, the 2025 Emmy Nominee, 64 Days.

Quested’s filmography reflects a commitment to exploring complex political and social issues, and his work has been widely recognized for its investigative depth and journalistic integrity.

Before turning to documentary filmmaking, Quested directed over 100 music videos and commercials for major brands and artists, including Dr. Dre, Nas, and Sting.
