Laura Deutch (she/her) is an award winning Philadelphia-based artist, educator, and cultural organizer committed to using media as a tool for social justice, creative expression and community building.  Her socially engaged projects investigate the relationships between people, places and their stories.  At PhillyCAM for over a decade, she produces and develops live TV studio productions, documentary work and community news programs, working closely with nonprofit, community and government partners to inform, empower and connect residents of Philadelphia. She holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. She is an active member and serves on the board of the Termite TV Collective.
