Sparsh Ahuja

Founder

Sparsh Ahuja is a documentary filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer using immersive narrative to explore themes of migration and colonization. In 2018 he founded Project Dastaan, an artist collective reconnecting Partition witnesses to their ancestral homes in VR. Sparsh’s work has been featured in Time and the BBC, and backed by organizations such as Arts Council, BFI, Doc Society, National Geographic and the British Council. He was the youngest recipient of the CatchLight Fellowship in 2019 and a 2020 Webby Awards Nominee. Sparsh is currently producing an immersive experience of the Partition, as well as a three-part animated series on forgotten migration stories.
