Molly O’Brien is an Academy Award shortlisted and prime-time Emmy Award-winning producer with more than two decades of experience producing documentary series and feature films. As head of documentary for NBC News Studios, she oversees the full slate of feature documentary films, as well as the Original Voices fellowship, an annual one-year artists’ support program that awards filmmakers $45,000 grants for their documentary films. Prior to NBC Molly was the Executive Producer of Special Projects & COO of Fork Films in New York City, and a founding producer of Sundance Institute’s Catalyst Initiative in Los Angeles.
