Loralee Sundra

FRONTLINE Fellow

Loralee Sundra is the FRONTLINE Fellow for the Documentary Film Legal Clinic at UCLA School of Law. Through the development of the Clinic’s documentary filmmakers’ legal education program, Loralee continues expansion of the Clinic’s pro bono outreach by providing filmmakers with opportunities to attend seminars on a variety of relevant legal issues they face. Prior to joining the Clinic in January 2021, Loralee practiced media and entertainment law for twenty-two years with the firm of Leopold, Petrich & Smith, and, more recently, as a member of the nationally recognized Media & Entertainment group of Ballard Spahr LLP. In addition to her Clinic instruction, Loralee teaches media law courses at UCLA Extension, and regularly leads presentations on topics in media and intellectual property.

PRO BONO LEGAL CLINIC

The Pro Bono Legal Clinic offers investigative storytellers lacking legal representation the opportunity to connect with experts who can knowledgeably discuss legal challenges they are confronting. Leading attorneys in the areas of First Amendment law, privacy and libel, Freedom of Information, whistleblower protection, copyright and intellectual property will be on hand.
